Three Things
Happy August! It has been a busy time with a combined 50 gigs in two months! That's a record breaker for me. I have some news that I'd like you all to know.

First, I am so honored to be invited to the 2018 American Folk Festival this year with Boston-based guitarist Eamon Sefton! I’ve been attending this festival since I was ten, and I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would play it. Eamon and I play on August 25, at 1:00 p.m. and demo at 3:15 p.m. and on the 26th at 1:45 p.m. All performances at Two Rivers Stage.

Next, in July, I release a new EP titled Windstorm. I had a great crew helping me out on this project - Eamon on guitar and Robert Sylvain on sound board. We recorded at Pip Walter's Track Barn in Cape Elizabeth, and Barb Walls did the concept and design.
You can hear me talk about the new EP and my summer gigs on an archived interview with WMPG's US Folk with host Chris Darling.
And, last but definitely not least, I want to say that playing traditional music is a pretty awesome thing. But to be able to play for others is wicked! So a big shout out to all of you who come to my gigs, book me, support my music and buy my CDs. Thank you! Hope to see you out there on the road and you can keep up to date with my gig schedule on Facebook and my website www.guslacasse.com
